Education and Training I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from U.C. Davis and received my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant University.
Alliant University is the only COAMFTE accredited school in Northern California. This is important for you to know as a client due to the impeccable training program and strict requirements to graduate. In order to graduate from Alliant a student must obtain 500 hours of direct client contact! Other schools require 150 hours. While at Alliant I maintained a straight A average.
I have had further training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. I attended an intense four day training with it's creator Sue Johnson.
I have attended conferences on behavioral management with teens and foster children as well as Michele Borba's seminar on the effects and research on bullying.
